Ontario Health Insurance Plan

The province of Ontario offers payment on a wide variety of medically necessary health services through the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).

To access these medically necessary healthcare services, Ontario residents must have a provincial Health Card. An Ontario Health Card also entitles Ontario residents access to medical facilities across the province and in most other provinces in Canada.
